Bethe Seyffert is a Research and Development Technologist at MJ Labs. She is a key driver of innovation, quality, and compliance within the company. Bethe oversees research and development while ensuring that all products meet SAHPRA and Foodstuffs South Africa guidelines. Her responsibilities include preparing accurate costings, developing and reviewing samples, compiling label information, and sourcing raw materials and packaging. She also supports production by troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges, while keeping a close eye on market trends to guide product innovation and improvement. With a strong focus on regulatory compliance, efficiency, and quality, Bethe ensures that every product is not only safe and compliant but also aligned with market demands and the company’s vision.

Bethe believes that products must solve a real consumer problem, be understandable by consumers, and add value to consumer lives. Bethe holds a BSc. Consumer Science and Business Management degree from the University of Potchefstroom. She has been involved with product development for over 6 years and have been part of many successful product launches.
